Job Description:

Over the Moon Farm is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Farmers Market Booth Attendant. This position offers the opportunity to engage with customers, showcase our farm-fresh products, and contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of the Iowa City Farmers Market.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Interact with market visitors enthusiastically, providing information about our products, answering inquiries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Set-Up and Take-Down: Assist in the setup and breakdown of the booth before and after market hours, ensuring that all products are displayed attractively and the area is clean and organized.
• Collaboration: Work closely with one of the owners of Over the Moon Farm, who will handle product transportation to the market in the morning and manage deliveries while you manage the booth.

Additional Incentives:

• Cash Bonuses: Earn additional incentives through email newsletter sign-ups and achieving sales targets.
• Breakfast/Coffee Stipend: A $10 stipend will be allotted for breakfast/coffee.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiasm for locally sourced, sustainable agriculture and products.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Expected Hours: Saturdays, from 6:30 AM to 12:15 PM.

Compensation:

• $15 per hour

Our focus is on transparency, sustainability, and fostering a connection between consumers and their food sources. With our Monthly  Meat Subscription service, we aim to provide convenient access to our premium meat and we are currently seeking to expand our customer base for this particular enterprise. 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and creative marketing contractor to join our team and help promote our farm and specifically focus on our monthly meat subscription service. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sustainable agriculture and have experience in digital marketing, particularly in the areas of social media content creation and SEO optimization. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely and requires approximately 5 hours per month.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote our farm and monthly meat subscription service.
• Create engaging and informative social media content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
• Optimize website content and structure for SEO to improve visibility and drive organic traffic.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with the farm team to ensure marketing efforts align with our brand values and messaging.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media and SEO.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Passion for sustainable agriculture and ethical food production.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in content creation (e.g., photography, videography, graphic design).
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and strategies.
• Knowledge of the agriculture or food industry.
